Maglio Companies is a value added produce wholesaler. We have a great opportunity for an Account Manager at our McAllen, TX facility.

The Account Manager is responsible for providing direct sales emphasis on new accounts and cold calls.  The inside sales team interprets and implements all contractual requirements by maintaining contact with the customers, implementing and reviewing pricing agreements, and coordinating with the various departments with the Company.   The successful candidate is a hands-on salesperson who thrives on building great relationships through honest communication and exceptional service.  The candidate must be detail oriented, and dedicated to driving continuous improvement within a team environment, while exceeding the customer's expectation for service.

Daily you will:

- Generate new leads and sales by cold calling customers and targeting contacts.

- Ensure orders are received and verified.

- Be responsbile for the the maintenance and identification of new sales opportunities with exsisting customers.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- 3 - 5 years of account management experience

- Knowledge of produce and growing regions.

- Strong computer skills with Produce Pro or AS 400 experience preferred
